Psalms 96:7-9 (KJV)

7 Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

8 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.

9 O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

What can we give to GOD as He owns everything?

“Psalms 50:10 (KJV) For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.”

There is nothing that He does not posses. He created everything.

What we can give Him is our thanksgiving, praise, worship, glory and strength.

We can give Him our heart and our will. He created us to have a free will and desires to come to Him, call on Him, worship Him, obey Him willingly not out of compulsion.

“Psalms 29:2 (KJV) Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.”

“Psalms 30:4 (KJV) Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.”

Therefore let us all be encouraged to give to the LORD. Let us give Him thanksgiving, praise and worship as our offering. Let our service to Him and our neighbours be an offering to Him. That whatever we do let us do unto Him with our whole and generous heart.

“2 Corinthians 8:5 (KJV) And this they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God.”

“Colossians 3:23-25 (KJV) And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; [24] Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. [25] But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.”
