Psalms 116:13 (KJV) I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.
This is part of the response to the question in the verse above. “Psalms 116:12 (KJV) What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?” The LORD GOD Almighty, who created the heavens and the earth, presents everyone with a gift. This gift is the cup of salvation. That is salvation from sin and death. “Romans 5:12-15 (KJV) Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: [13] (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. [14] Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. [15] But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.”
It is not us who earn our salvation. It is a free gift. All we need to do is believe and call on Jesus Christ the LORD of lords.

“John 6:28-29 (KJV) Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? [29] Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.”

Therefore be encouraged today to put your trust and faith in Jesus Christ. He paid the price for our sins. Let us ask Him and drink of their cub of His salvation.
“John 4:10-14 (KJV) Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. [11] The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? [12] Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? [13] Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: [14] But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”
