Titus 3:8 (KJV) This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

Let us be encouraged today by this this verse to keep on keeping on. Paul is encouraging us to to be careful to maintain good works. Doing the work GOD called us to does not happen automatically it requires us to attend to it, to be careful and to keep on doing it. We often can be disappointed and discouraged tempting us to just give up, thinking what is the use.

Let’s not give up but let us all encourage each other and ourself to be careful to maintain doing the things GOD has called us to do. “Hebrews 10:23-25 (KJV) Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) [24] And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: [25] Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”

Let us be zealous in doing good. “Titus 2:13-14 (KJV) Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; [14] Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.”

If we keep on persevering, that is being careful to maintain, we will in the end see that it will not be a waste for in the end we will see that it was fruitful.
“Titus 3:14 (KJV) And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.”
