Psalms 85:2-3 (KJV)
2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.
3 Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.
Let us be thankful and encouraged by what is written here. Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross and His resurection we can avail ourself of His great mercy and forgiveness. In John 3:16-17 (KJV) it tells us how to do this “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”
We need to be saved for everyone is under GOD’s wrath because of sin and only through faith in Jesus Christ is this wrath removed.
“John 3:18-19 (KJV) He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [19] And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.”
Thank GOD for making the only way for us to be forgiven and saved so simple that we all have to come to Him with simple childlike faith.
“Luke 18:16-17 (KJV) But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. [17] Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.”
