Psalms 105:1-5 (KJV)

1 O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.

2 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.

3 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.

4 Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.

5 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;

Over the next few devotions we will look at various actions the LORD wants us to do as outlined in these verses.

Let us be encouraged to always give thanks to the LORD. There is so. Much we can thank Him for that we take for granted. For example every breath that we take, every heart beat. Let us always give thanks to GOD in our prayers and as we observe GOD work in peoples and our life.

“Colossians 4:2 (KJV) Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;”

The rest of this Psalm goes through recollecting/remembering some of the wonderful things the LORD did so we can see examples of how He rescued those who called on the name of the LORD and can give thanks.

Let us pray. Thank you Father for Jesus Christ who came to save us and and that You have called and chosen us to be with you for eternity. LORD I thank you that we are alive and can be thankful to You the one who gives us life. You are so good and know what is best for us. Let us bring glory to you in everthing we do today and remember to always thank you. In Jesus Name.
