Psalms 105:1-5 (KJV)
1 O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
2 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.
3 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
4 Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
5 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
We will continue to look at various actions the LORD wants us to do as outlined in these verses.
Let us be encouraged today to look at the good things the LORD has done in our life and seek the LORD. Let our heart rejoice in Him no matter in what situation we are in now because He will bring us through them.
As it is written in Habakkuk 3:17-19 (KJV) “Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: [18] Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. [19] The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.”
The rest of this Psalm goes through recollecting/remembering some of the wonderful things the LORD did so we can see examples of how He rescued those who called on the name of the LORD. We can take these things as an encouragement and rejoice in Him for the wonderful works He did, does and will do.
