Psalms 105:1-5 (KJV)
1 O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
2 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.
3 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
4 Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
5 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
We will continue to look at various actions the LORD wants us to do as outlined in these verses.
In the last devotion we looked at letting our hearts rejoice. When we seek the LORD and make Him our number one priority in our life our heart can rejoice because we discover and know that GOD is good and that as it says in Romans 8:28-30 (KJV) “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. [29] For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. [30] Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.”
Let us therefore be encouraged to seek and keep seeking the LORD. He is our strength and will bring us through whatever we are facing so that we can rejoice in the midst of difficulties.
Let us pray. Father in the name of Jesus Christ was ask you that to help us to keep our eyes on You, that we seek You and Your Righteousness above all else for we know that you work it all out for good somehow even if we do not understand or see it now.
“Matthew 6:33 (KJV) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
