Matthew 18:3 (KJV) And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. https://bible.com/bible/116/mat.18.3

As adults we try to reason and understand things completely before we actually believe. Science looks at what we can observe and measure using our five senses.
Children when they are young are not clouded by all this, but trust a parents word and believe it with one hundred percent certainty.

Faith is different to observation of the 5 senses, it does not follow these rules of science. Faith comes by what GOD says and fully accepting this as fact and true despite of what our senses tell us. “Romans 10:17 (KJV) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” https://bible.com/bible/116/rom.10.17

Therefore childlike faith is a prerequisite to conversion to becoming a Christian. Believing in Jesus Christ, His work on the cross, repenting from sin, starting do do things GOD’s way instead of the world’s way. It is counterintuitive.

Let us be encouraged by this to come to humble our self before GOD, as a little children before a loving Father. “Matthew 18:4 (KJV) Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”. https://bible.com/bible/116/mat.18.4
Changing:

  • The I know better to GOD knows best.
  • What we perceive as impossible to nothing is impossible for GOD.
  • Out view of GOD to viewing GOD on how He describes Himself.
  • Reliance on ourself to relying on GOD.

Let us believe and call on the name of Jesus Christ to save us.
“Luke 19:10 (KJV) For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” https://bible.com/bible/116/luk.19.10
“John 3:16-18 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. [18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” https://bible.com/bible/116/jhn.3.16-18
“Romans 10:13 (KJV) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” https://bible.com/bible/116/rom.10.13

Let us pray. Father I come to you in the name of Jesus Christ. Forgive me for not believing everything You have said about ourself, who You are, what You did, what You do and what You will do. Your promises stand firm.
Help me in my unbelieve. Help me to see the truth clearly. I put our complete trust in You. I humble myself, You are right and I am wrong. I come to You, turning away from my own ways and from now on endeavour to do things Your way. I surrender everything to you, all that I have and all that I am. Please forgive me my sins (list them here). Wash me with the precious blood of Jesus Christ that He shed for me on the cross, that I may be clean. Help me not to sin again. I believe in Jesus Christ your only begotten Son and will follow Him from now on.
Thank you for your love, grace, mercy and forgiveness. Amen
