Yesterday we looked at Jesus Christ being our strong tower for safety (https://missioncommunities.network/2026/04/08/strong-tower-2026-04-08/). Her again the LORD shows us how to be safe. It all comes down to trusting in the LORD Jesus Christ. If we fear people more than GOD we end up in a pitfall, a trap which will bring undue difficulty.

Therefore let us be encouraged to put our trust in the LORD Jesus Christ and not fear what people can do to us. In this way we avoid entrapping ourself. The LORD has promised freedom to us so let us avoid relinquishing it and trust in the LORD will all our heart. “Proverbs 3:5-7 (KJV) Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. [6] In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. [7] Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.” https://bible.com/bible/116/pro.3.5-7
