Let us be encouraged today and know that when we are in Jesus Christ we do not be anxious and disturbed by what is happening in the world. He is the one who promised us to keep us save, bring us through difficult times and if we have to die because of this we will dwell with Him safely for eternity. Therefore we can have peace in the midst of the storm and sleep.
“Mark 4:36-40 (KJV) And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships. [37] And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. [38] And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? [39] And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. [40] And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?”

Let us pray. Father we thank you for sending Jesus Christ to save us. We put our trust in Him. Thank you that we can dwell in safety and therefore can rest in you in the midst of all that is happening. Help us to be a blessing and to show others that they can put Tür trust in you. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
