Psalms 119:143 (KJV) Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet thy commandments are my delights.

No matter what happens and is going on in our lives, let our delight be in the LORD GOD Almighty and His word. When we truly love the LORD we have a willingness to follow God regardless of the price. “Matthew 16:24-25 (KJV) Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. [25] For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.”

Even when there is so much persecution let us not turn away but instead daw closer to our LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ. “Psalms 119:157 (KJV) Many are my persecutors and mine enemies; yet do I not decline from thy testimonies.”.
Just like Jesus Christ disciples when everyone walked away from Him, we can say “John 6:67-69 (KJV) Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? [68] Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. [69] And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.”. GOD and His word are truth and what He decrees will last for ever.
“Psalms 119:160 (KJV) Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.” Jesus said “John 14:6 (KJV) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

The truth is that the LORD GOD is close and His word is truth. “Psalms 119:151 (KJV) Thou art near, O LORD; and all thy commandments are truth.”.
Therefore be encouraged today and know that the LORD is near and upholding us in the midst of the hardships as we make Jesus Christ number one in our life living in obedience to Him.
“Matthew 7:24-27 (KJV) Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: [25] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. [26] And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: [27] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.”
