Proverbs 29:1 (KJV) He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

GOD grants repentance often, through the criticism we receive from Him, by His word, our conscience and godly and wise people. It is up to us to respond and not harden our hearts. There comes a time when our hearts are so hard, having fallen into apostasy and sin that there be no remedy and and GOD gives us over to that.

Therefore let us be encouraged today to listen to the LORD when He corrects us and repent from our sins, turing away from them and instead follow Jesus Christ by obeying His words, letting the Spirit control our mind, walking in the Spirit instead of letting our mind be controlled by the flesh and walking in the flesh. “Romans 8:6 (KJV) For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.” .

Let us pray. Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask You to forgive us of our sins. We also forgive those who sinned against us. Help us instead of keeping on sinning to obey and follow you. Soften our heart towards you and one another. Help us to set our mind on the things that are above, by Your word and the Holy Spirit. Amen
