The Mission Communities Network in Uganda is lead by Dominic Turyakira.

The Mission
Preaching of the gospel of Christ
He does a lot of one on one evangelism to reach people with the gospel of Jesus Christ, brining a message of hope and love. The focus is especially to connect with those who feel forgotten or marginalised. Part of this work includes the distribution of bibles to those who are seeking or have come to know Jesus Christ and then establishing a new Mission Community.

Providing for the poor
He offers practical support to those in need. During times of food scarcity the Uganda Mission Communities provide food to the elderly and refugees.
Through these efforts, he aim to show God’s love through actions and kindness, helping others feel cared for and valued. As the Bible says in Matthew 25:35-40:
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”

Funding of the work
To support and sustain this work, Dominic cultivates land, growing food for his family, the needy and also sells it. This helps the ministry remain self-sufficient.
He is also looking to purchase more land to enlarge the ministry activities when God provides. The additional land will allow the work to expand allowing to help more people in need and through this provid opportunities to share the gospel.
