Psalms 29:1-2 (KJV)
1 A Psalm of David. Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
2 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

The LORD GOD is almighty. He is the creator of all that is. He deserves all worship and praise. It is due to Him from all His creation.

Hw do we worship Him? Here it says in the beauty of holiness. He is holy and His holiness is beautiful, it is pure, clean, full of light, it is beautiful. What best way to worship Him by living our life in a holy manner. We ourself can not anytime this but He freely gives it to us and the power to live holy a holy life.

The devil might come and temp us as He did with Jesus but He refuted him with the Word of God for example in Matthew 4:10 (KJV) “Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.”

In James 4:7 (KJV) we have the answer on this “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

In Nehemiah 9:6 (KJV) it gives us a glimpse of how we adore our creator and saviour: “Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.”

Then lists many of the LORD’s great works through a summary of the history of His dealing with His people and their obedience and disobedience. His goodness and mercy endures forever and is not based on our performance but His love.

Therefore let us be encouraged today to not only worship the LORD GOD our Creator in words and song but with our life by living a holy and acceptable life before Him.
“1 Peter 1:15-16 (KJV) But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; [16] Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.”
