Proverbs 29:13 (KJV) The poor and the deceitful man meet together: the LORD lighteneth both their eyes.

Here we have two persons in opposing condition. One is poor the other rich and oppressing the poor. They have one thing in common that it is GOD who has given them life. GOD does not show partiality as it is written in Matthew 5:43-48 (KJV) “Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. [44] But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; [45] That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. [46] For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? [47] And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? We all have been given life, sight, breath by GOD. He is the one who sustains us till we reach the time GOD has appointed for us die.

Therefore let us be encouraged and become more like Jesus Christ. Let us imitate GOD and bless not only those who bless us but those who are our enemies, those who despitefully use us, persecute and curse us.

Let us pray. Father we thank you that You have given use and everyone in the world life. Some will come to you other will reject, persecute, curse You and Your children. Help us to have your love and compassion and instead of retribution we seek blessing and salvation for them. In the name of Jesus Christ our LORD and Saviour. Amen.
