In trouble to help others – 2026.06.26

2 Corinthians 1:6 (KJV) And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.

Let us be encouraged today to know that when we go though difficult seasons it is to benefit others and us as well.

It is for:

  1. The comfort, consolation and salvation of other people as they see us live through these troubles. We can also use them as a testimony of how GOD worked in our life to give glory to Jesus Christ and help others who go through the same predicament. “Romans 8:28-30 (KJV) And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. [29] For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. [30] Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.” https://bible.com/bible/116/rom.8.28-30.NLT
  2. Us to be perfected, become more like Jesus Christ. “James 1:2-4 (KJV) My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; [3] Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. [4] But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” https://bible.com/bible/116/jas.1.2-4.NLT

Let us pray. Father we thank You that you saved us through the work of the cross of Jesus Christ and that no matter what we went through, are going through and will go through, You are in control and have a purpose and in the end it will work out for good. Even through death you can bring life. Be glorified in our life. Help us to be a good example and be able to encourage, comfort and console others pointing to You, Your love, grace and mercy. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
