2 Corinthians 13:11 (KJV) Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

In the final greeting of 2 Corinthians there are four things we are asked to do:
- Be perfect (Become complete in the NKJV)
- Be of good comfort
- Be of one mind
- Live in peace
This if followed by promise that Jesus Christ, who is GOD, who is love and peace will be with us.
Todays let us be encouraged by the first of these, “Become prefect/complete”.
Jesus Christ does not intend for us to ram in as we are. His desire is to be come more and more like Him. He is perfect and we are to be perfect. “Matthew 5:48 (KJV) Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”. https://bible.com/bible/116/mat.5.48
This dies not all happen at an instant. At conversion we become a new creation in Jesus Christ. “2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” https://bible.com/bible/116/2co.5.17. There are some things that change instantly in the way we think and act. These are different for each one of us. Then over the rest of our life Jesus Christ works in us by the Holy Spirit to become more like Him. “2 Corinthians 3:18 (KJV) But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” https://bible.com/bible/116/2co.3.18. This change happens through the renewing of our mind.
“Romans 12:2 (KJV) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” https://bible.com/bible/116/rom.12.2.
And we are responsible for this. We need to ensure that we get the right input. This input should be from GOD. This is daily via His word, prayer, praise, worship, fellowship with other believers. This is called sanctification with the Holy Spirit working is us “Ephesians 5:26 (KJV) That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,” https://bible.com/bible/116/eph.5.26.
There are quiet a few devotions about this for example those below:

Let us pray. Father in the name of Jesus Christ our desire is to be perfect like you. Help us by your Holy Spirit to become more like you. Help us to ensure we get the right input and let you transform, renew and change us. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
