Psalms 130:3-4 (KJV)
3 If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
4 But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

No one will be able to stand before GOD guiltless in their own capacity. “Romans 3:9-12 (KJV) What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; [10] As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: [11] There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. [12] They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.” And “Romans 3:23 (KJV) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”

But we can be glad that GOD is merciful. In His mercy He decided to not consider our sins but instead provide forgiveness. He does that so that people will fear (revere, honour, obey) Him. GOD is just and because of His justice sin requires a penalty. “Romans 6:23 (KJV) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”.

How does GOD resolve that dilemma between mercy and justice? He did that by sending Jesus Christ to pray the penalty for all who believe in Him. He who is totally sinless took our sin and pride the price for us. “2 Corinthians 5:17-21 (KJV) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. [18] And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; [19] To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. [20] Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. [21] For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”, “John 3:16-21 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. [18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [19] And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. [20] For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. [21] But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”.

So through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ GOD made salvation availed to everyone who believes.
“1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJV) Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; [2] By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. [3] For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; [4] And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”.
“1 Peter 3:18 (KJV) For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:”
“Romans 5:1-2 (KJV) Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: [2] By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”

Therefore be encouraged today, not tomorrow, to believe in, repent (turning away from sin) and call on Jesus Christ to be saved.
If you are already walking with Jesus Christ and experiencing His great mercy and forgiveness continue to walk and not only that but be good ambassadors of the Kingdom of God and not causing anyone to stumble but instead point to Jesus Christ who is the author and finisher of our faith.
[21] For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
