1 Timothy 2:4-7 (WEB)

4 who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.

5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

6 who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times;

7 to which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle (I am telling the truth in Christ, not lying), a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

GOD wants everyone to know the truth and here we have it plainly.

It is:

• That there is only one GOD and not many.
• That there is only one mediator between GOD and people and not many. We can’t choose our mediator GOD has chosen Him.
• That Jesus Christ is the mediator, who is GOD the Son, Who became a man by being born of the Virgin Mary by the Holy Spirit. In short GOD incarnate.
• That Jesus Christ, having a body just like us, paid the ransom, the price for all our sins.
• That Jesus Christ had no sin and took our sin upon Himself on the cross.
• That He became a testimony of GOD’s: love, mercy, grace, salvation, reconciliation, power, ….
• Through faith in Jesus Christ we all can be saved.
• The good news, the gospel.
• That we can have eternal life in Jesus Christ.
• That GOD called people to be His witness to share the good news.
• That GOD wants everyone to know the truth and have faith in Jesus Christ.

And there is so much more…….

But in short is it Jesus Christ Himself:

“John 14:6 (WEB) Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.”

Therefore let us be encouraged to believe the truth, to call on Jesus Christ, to turn to Jesus Christ and follow Him.

“John 8:32 (WEB) You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.””

“Mark 1:15 (WEB) and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and God’s Kingdom is at hand! Repent, and believe in the Good News.””

“John 3:16-18 (WEB) For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. [17] For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him. [18] He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn’t believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.”

“Romans 10:13 (WEB) For, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.””

“Mark 1:17 (WEB) Jesus said to them, “Come after me, and I will make you into fishers for men.””
