Proverbs 27:1 (KJV) Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. https://bible.com/bible/116/pro.27.1
GOD is the one who is in control. He alone knows what will happen. Boasting belongs to those who are proud and that is not a good thing. “Proverbs 16:5 (KJV) Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.” https://bible.com/bible/116/pro.16.5

In James 4:13-16 https://bible.com/bible/116/jas.4.13-16 it explains to us how out attitude about tomorrow should be:
“(KJV) Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: [14] Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. [15] For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. [16] But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.”. So in summary we submit to GOD and say if the LORD wills we will do this or that … we can make plans prayerfully but in the end GOD is the one who will lead. “Proverbs 16:9 (KJV) A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.” https://bible.com/bible/116/pro.16.9

Let us pray. Father in the name of Jesus Christ forgive us for being proud and presumptuous with our plans. We commit our plans into Your hands. Help us to make plans with You. Let Your will be done in our life and have your way. Lead and direct us in Your ways that you might be glorified. Amen
