Ephesians 5:17-21 (KJV)
17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

Reading these verses we discover that the LORD Jesus Christ wants us to be wise and understand His will for our life. Then it follows on with a small sample of His will is for everyone of us (if you read the whole book of Ephesians, the New Testament and the whole bible the will of GOD is revealed).

1. Be wise and understand His will
2. Not to get drunk
3. Be filled with the Holy Spirit
4. Speaking and singing to ourself and one another – the church – with:
   A. Psalms,
   B. Hymns,
   C. Spiritual songs
5. Make a melody in our hearts to the LORD
6. Being thankful in everything – no matter what is going on – to GOD
7. Submitting to one another (the church in the fear of the LORD

All this is want GOD wants each one of us to do and this involves coming together as the church.

Let us pray. Father we thank you that you are revealing your will to us. Help us that we will always do these seven things, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
