Psalms 5:11 (KJV) But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

There is a relationship between trusting in and loving the LORD and joy.
Joy is an outcome of this because when we trust in the LORD, as a result of His love and our love for Him, then we know He is for us. His purpose for us is for good, in the end despite the hardship it will all work out. Because we have eternal life and will be with Him forever.

Therefore let us be encourage as it says in Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV) to “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. [6] In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” https://bible.com/bible/116/pro.3.5-6
and as it says in Matthew 22:37 (KJV) “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.”. https://bible.com/bible/116/mat.22.37
If we do that let us not stop there but then to rejoice in the LORD our salvation.

Let us pray. Father we thank You for Your love, grace and mercy. We put our trust in Jesus Christ and love You because you loved us so much that Jesus Christ Your only begotten Son paid the price for our sin on the cross that we might be save when we believe in Jesus Christ. Help us to rejoice in our salvation every day despite of what we hear, see and how we feel. In the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
