Mark 4:11-12 (KJV)
11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:
12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.
Mark 4:33-34 (KJV)
33 And with many such parables spake he the word unto them, as they were able to hear it.
34 But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.

Continuing on in the theme of knowledge and understanding from yesterdays devotion “The fool and GOD – 2024.10.28 http://missioncommunities.network/2024/10/28/the-fool-and-god-2024-10-28/” we see in Mark 4 Jesus teaching parables and i.e. paling to His disciples the reason for parables. We can see again that there are two groups one who the LORD GOD reveals the mystery of the Kingdom of God and the other from whom it is hidden. The former group is comprised of people who seek after truth, Jesus Christ (“John 14:6 (KJV) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”) and the other who reject, deny, and or ignore the truth.

If this helped, encouraged, or blessed you, pass it on to someone else who will benefit.
