How To Pray – 2024.03.08

Isaiah 55:10-11 (KJV)

10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

When God speaks His word it will do what He purposes it to do. The key is: His word, Him speaking it and His will.
Jesus showed us how to pray and He himself prayed in the same way.
Matthew 6:10 (KJV) Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Matthew 26:42 (KJV) He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.
We should always subject ourself to His will. What is God saying in this situation? What does He want to do? Is it different to what we want?
Lord send Your word and let Your will be done.
