Here we see three things that the LORD requires of us if we want to follow Him:
- Deny ourself – see following-jesus-christ-part-1
- Take up our cross – see following-jesus-christ-part-2
- Follow Him
Let’s us look at the third one today. What is following Jesus Christ ?
Following Jesus Christ is a daily thing. It is not for a while till we had enough or out gets to hard or do it as it suits us.
Let us be encouraged to follow Jesus Christ every day. When we make decisions let us ask what would Jesus do and what does Jesus want me to do. When we follow Jesus Christ we need to deny ourself, take up our cross as we looked at previously and then walk in His ways not looking back.

Instead let us always look to Jesus Christ.

Let us pray. Father we thank you for your great love for us and that Your intentions for us is for our best. We believe in You Jesus Christ, and put our trust in you. Thank you for the cross and paying for all our sins. Help us now to deny ourself, take up our cross every day and follow you without looking and turning back. Help us to fix our eyes on Jesus Christ no matter what we face. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
