Mark 9:50 (KJV) Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.

Let us be encouraged to day to make it our ain to be and remain salty. How do we do this? We do this by walking in and remaining in Jesus Christ. It is not good for us to just hear His words and not do them. We need to be doers of the word. Obedience is much better than sacrifice.
“1 Samuel 15:22 (KJV) And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.”

First we need to have salt in ourself. To do this we need to be born again and to be born again we obey Jesus Christ when He says “John 14:1 (KJV) Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.” https://biblehub.com/john/14-1.htm.
As it has in “John 3:15 (KJV) That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” https://biblehub.com/john/3-15.htm
This faith is what makes us salty. So then we have to remain in the faith by following Jesus Christ practicing righteousness and stop practicing lawlessness.
When we do this we will be His peacemakers. That is, we endeavour to keep and make peace between each other in the church.
“Matthew 5:9 (KJV) Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.” https://biblehub.com/matthew/5-9.htm
